The Falcon was situated on Mill Road. This pub was closed in October 1995 and has now been converted to a private dwelling.

I used to work at Stonecare Ltd (now also closed), whose head office was next door. Very very occasionally a small group of us went to the Falcon for a lunchtime drink and a sandwich (as that's all there was). A humourless, grey-faced publican with no people skills whatsoever, serving dull tasteless sandwiches. Otherwise forgettable in every way. No wonder it closed. Sorry.
