was present by 1850 when the publican was Thomas Rundle. This pub closed in
2023 and has now been registered as an Asset Of Community Value. |

As a family we used to stay at this pub renting the top floor
flat/rooms, staying for a fortnight usually in June, and did for several
years in the 1960s. My father was the same name to save confusion! I was
a child. |
