The Corporation Hotel was situated on Morledge.  This pub was closed in 1969 and demolished the following year.

Name Dates Comments Russ Hamer 1960/1966 As a young lad I was a regular Saturday lunch time visitor here. After shopping at Cockpit Hill I would read superman or commando magazine in the large hall whilst they had a drink in the lounge. I think I have a photo of my father standing in front of our Ford Consul with a licensing notice behind mentioning Harry Illsley as proprietor.
