The King William IV was situated on Newmarket Road, close to the junction with Coldhams Lane. This pub was demolished in 1975 for road widening

Sharon Butler 1960s This was my parents first pub they had in the early 60's, I think there was a wood yard at the back, and gas works across the road. My parents then went on to run another 6 pubs after this.
