The pub (opened 1849, closed 2009) was subject
of an item on BBC TV's "Homes under the Hammer" in 2013 when the purchaser
converted the outbuildings into a cafe and part of the property into a Tile
shop (now closed). Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council gave approval
(Jul/Aug 2025) for the pub to be converted into a Restaurant, with a rooftop
terrace. |
