Name Dates Comments Richard Bennett 1960s In my teens i was very interested in Folk music my brother in law suggested the I go to the club held at the Rifle Hotel. Local people could get up and perform in the little room upstairs some of them very good. I did not know what a reputation the area had fortunately I had no trouble both times. On Teesside at the time there where many clubs like this in the old style pubs a real shame they have disapeared.
