The Springfield Hotel was situated on Market
Street. This pub was built in 1881 and closed in the 1990s, planning
permission was granted in 2001 to convert into residential properties.
Unfortunately no work started and the pub is now derelict. There have been
fires in the building resulting in the roof coming down. |
