The Kirkstone Pass Inn was situated at the top of Kirkstone Pass. This pub closed in 2022.

Now reopened. The building is about 500 years old, the highest pub in the Lake District (1489 ft above sea level) and 3rd highest in England, and is reputedly the most haunted pub in England. Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery has taken on the leasehold of the bar. Part of the property is holiday lets.
