The Golden Lion was situated in Cannon Hill Park, close to the Russell Road entrance. This grade-II, 16th century pub, was originally located on Deritend High Street, however was dismantled in 1911 and rebuilt in its current location. In recent years the building was declared structurally unsound due to decay. It may yet be moved back to its original location.
