The Angel was situated at 1 St Mary's Terrace.
Until 1837 this pub was called The Brisco Arms. Musgrave Brisco was once
Hastings' Conservative MP and a new landlord changed the pub's name for
political reasons. Closed in 2009 and subsequently converted into a private
house.
