The Victory was situated at 50 William Road.
 
My grandfather was a merchant seaman from 1910 to 1922 and lodged at the Victory with his uncle Robert Boundry who was the landlord, when on leave.

Gary Daly 1988-1990 I was a customer at this pub it was ran by an irish landlady called theresa mcmahera .I met my future wife there , good old pub , happy days gone by .
