From The Reigate and Banstead Advertiser
(November 1971): |
|
Singer to open club - A club in Reigate is
being opened by a Croydon singer/guitarist, Dave Smith, whose group, Plastik
Bukit, includes Richard Hook (guitar/vocals) and Dave Harwood (drums/flute).
Opening next week, the club will meet every Thursday at 7.45 p.m. at the
Nutley Hall, Nutley Lane. It will be run in conjunction with another group,
The Legacy (traditional) until Christmas; thereafter, it is hoped the two
groups will run it on alternate Thursdays. Guests for the opening night will
be The Wild Oats, who run their own club at the Crooked Billet, Penge. |
