Name Dates Comments Paul Whitehead 1939/1970 My father, Edward Thomas Whitehead, was the licensee from 6 Feb 1939 until 31 July 1969 after which my stepmother held the license until Nov 1970. I was born at The Ship in May 1939. I welcome contact with any remaining staff or customers.
