Street. This grade-II listed pub opened in 1753 when the publican was
Alexander Davis. It closed in the 1880s and is now used as student

House and office. Early C18 3-storeyed
stuccoed front (? rubble) with cellars and a Welsh slate roof, in which are
5 modern attic windows. Coachway on West. The ground floor has 4 C19 plate
glass sash windows, while in the 1st and 2nd floors are 5 sash windows, some
of which have the original C18 glazing bars. |
