Frederick Robinson 1970s/1980s Unless I'm mistaken, my mum (Ida Mary Ward) was behind the bar at this pub; the landlady's name was Dorothy (?) who had an ailment so that he head was always facing her shoulder - but a very likeable woman. No drinker, and resident in Scotland at the time, I only went there a couple of times. Small, cosy atmosphere. There was a little backyard with a (much-used) loo there.
