The Steam Packet was situated at 22 Hall Quay. This pub was demolished along with the neighbouring Crown & Anchor. The former Yare Hotel was built on the site in the 1930s. It is the building to the immediate right of The Crown & Anchor in the above photo. The Crown & Anchor was eventually subsumed into The Steam Packet premises.
