The Favourite was situated at 7 Queensland Road. This pub was previously known as The Volunteer and was closed and demolished in 2003 to make way for the new Arsenal stadium.

Name Dates Comments Sharon van Buskirk 1980-1989 Living in a Muswell Hill household that took in students in the short term, the landlord's friend & handyman, John O'Connor, made sure we all made our way to his favorite, The Favourite. where I had my first Guinness (with a good number to follow). At closing time, they'd bring the big pole out to open the roof transom so all the massive volume of cigarette smoke could escape. Like a magic trick, it was.
