The Spanish Patriots was situated at 14 White Conduit Street. This pub has now been demolished.

This pub was frequented by the murderer Ronald Marwood .He was drinking in the pub the night he murderer a policeman in Finsbury Pk (1958). He was convicted of capital murder,and hanged at Pentonville Prison in 1959.

Name Dates Comments Stephanie Wilson 1947-1950s I was born in this pub in 1947 as my parents lived in a top flat with my mother’s parents as the landlords. Ben and Kit Magnus were the publicans and at this pub from the beginning of the Second World War until the mid 50s when they moved to take over a pub in Brighton.
