The Sir Walter Scott was situated at 2 Broadway Market. This pub is now used as a restaurant, La Vie En Rose.
This pub was present by 1851 and was rebuilt in its present form in 1909.  It was tied to the Whitbread Brewery and closed in 1999 for conversion to restaurant use.
