The Masons Arms was situated on Silver Street and was demolished during the construction of the Riverhead Centre.

In its last years it had the singing postman, Alan Smethurst, as a regular customer. He used to feed a fortune into the sixpence a go bandit  .
Marsh Junction Signal Box
Publican from 1897 to 1923 was Maria Clara Colbrook / Lyon, a clairvoyant, whose son was killed in WWI. Her husband died of complications after a dray horse fell into the cellar.
