The Market Hotel was situated on Yarborough Road.
This pub was built in 1930 for Hewitts Brewery. It was converted to a
convenience store c2010. |

1935 by architect T Clayburn. Two storey
public house in a similar style to and forming a group with The Humber on
Cleethorpe Road and the Queens Hotel on Seaview Street. Red brown brick with
buff terracotta facing to the ground floor and a blue slate roof. Indicative
of the rapid growth and prosperity of the town post 1850. |
