The Bricklayers Arms was situated at 22-23 Watergate. This beerhouse was present by 1872 and closed in 1958. It has now been demolished.

Name Dates Comments Ian Hamilton 1952/1953 The licensee of the pub at that time was my grandfather James Hamilton and his wife Florence. After my father was demobbed in 1952 we lived there for a year or so when I was a two year old.
