The Hyde Road Hotel was situated at 325 Hyde Road. This pub had strong historical connections with Manchester City FC. Hyde Road Stadium, their home until they moved to Maine Road in 1923 lay immediately behind the pub. It closed c1990 and has now been demolished. Also known as The City Gates.
