The Leather Bottle was situated on Leathers Lane. This pub closed in 2006.

My granddad Jack Bowden would talk about The Leather Bottle with great affection. he called it 'a den of iniquity', a gathering place for 'Black market' and 'ladies of the night' who apparently had their prices in lipstick on the souls of their shoes!
