The Prince Of Wales was situated on Montague Street. This pub closed in September 2010 and previously traded as a traditional wet led community local that offered a range of traditional pub games and entertainment at the weekend.

Derek M Peel	1970s	We had our wedding reception there in 1974 as it was a last minute job and couldn't get a room anywhere else at short notice. They gave us the upstairs room and  put on a buffet for the guests -  had a great night -  happy days.
Mandy May	2008	It used to be a good local. Sadly the last landlord allowed drug taking ,all night drinking , then the violence caused it to close. Quite sad really.
