Railway Tavern, Ramsgate

The Railway Tavern was situated at 1 Shah Place. This Thomas & Wotton Brewery pub was known as The Rocket at time of closure in 1970 and has now been converted to residential use.

I believe a number of my relatives may have been the owners from the mid 1880s through to the 1920s. Their names were Thomas Bugden, Miss L Bugden (daughter) and Miss Susannah Bugden (daughter).
