The Round House was situated on Wincheap. This pub was called The Man Of Kent until 1997 and  is now used as a supermarket.

Now used as student accommodation.

Name Dates Comments Stephen & Cheryl Tyas 1997 Pub Managers, lived in the building when renovations were being done and pub was converted from The Man Of Kent to The Roundhouse. It grew into a popular place for local community and University students for a short period. This pub had regular paranormal activity witnessed by patrons, staff and management. Historical records reveal a disturbing and varied past for the original land site and original building.
