The Manor was situated on Portsmouth Road.
Planning permission has been granted for its demolition and subsequent
erection of nine dwellings. Whilst up for sale the agents description was:
"The property is brick built with white render and a multi pitched tiled
roof. Internally there is a large lounge bar with entertainment area to the
side. A conservatory to the western elevation provides more of a formal
dining area. A commercial kitchen and two sets of ladies’ and gent’s WC
facilities are also provided at ground floor level. There is a cellar at
basement level. The first floor provides 3 bedrooms, lounge and bathroom.
Externally there is a 25 space car park towards the eastern side of the
site, with a large trade garden to the rear. We understand the site extends
to circa 0.716 acres (0.290 hectares) with the pub occupying approximately
10% site coverage." |

Good friendships, good service, good football, an all around good pub
atmosphere, I was a customer and football team player along with "nap"
and darts. |
