The Touchdown was situated on West View Road. This pub closed in 2007 and became a Chinese restaurant (The Wok Inn) that has been closed since 2018. An application has now been made to convert the property into commercial premises on the ground floor (including convenience store and hot-food takeaway) with the 1st floor being made into a family home.
