The Hungry Fox was situated by the railway station, it opened as The Alexandra Commercial Hotel around the time the railway came to Broadclyst in 1860. Later it became The Alexandra Inn, then sometime after the station closed in 1966 it became The Hungry Fox closing in June 2012.
