The Miners Arms was situated on Derby Road. This was a small basic Kimberley tied house that lasted until Greene King took over the Kimberley brewery, the pub closed down around 2007 and it is still there but has been converted into private use.
I was a regular in this pub for many years, and ended up being the (last, as it turned out) landlord. Was still in profit when we closed, but not enough for Greene King, so they sold it off.
