The Two Brewers was situated on Hitchin
Road. This pub originally opened in 1849, however was subsequently
demolished and rebuilt in 1933. It closed in 2012 and has now been converted
to a private house, with new housing built on the car park. |

Was in the Crown with Kathryn Taylor. When we split lived
above the two brewers for a while, remember a Russian barmaid, but
cannot remember her name. Was a good pub with good ales and friendly
locals, just a bit out of town for many. |
